Nadia Mohamed has worked in the media arts and social change sector since 2009, when she graduated from New York University. She is a Paper Tiger TV collective member, and has had the opportunity to co-create 2 feature length documentaries and several shorts, while also planning their 30th anniversary conference, screenings at MoMA and an installation at the Fales Library.
She has also been the lead on producing the Facing Race National Conference, a biennial conference that brings together over 1200 racial justice organizers, activists, creatives, journalists, and researchers. The Facing Race conference features a film festival and gallery space, as well as four plenary sessions, a key note, evening events, and 60 breakout sessions.
