Community Partners
Our community partners include artists, neighbors, peer arts organizations, civic and community-based organizations, local businesses, and city agencies. The Laundromat Project is a proud member of Naturally Occurring Cultural Districts, New York, and Downtown Brooklyn Arts Alliance.
The Laundromat Project is a founding member of the Collaborative Arts Network New York (CANNY), a coalition of small to mid-sized multidisciplinary arts organizations committed to strengthening the infrastructure of arts nonprofits throughout New York. For more information about CANNY and its generous group of supporters, please visit https://can-ny.org/.
The Laundromat Project’s Twentieth Anniversary programming is supported by artists, neighbors, and peers who have supported The LP in fostering joy, connection, and meaningful change through the arts. Partners include graphic designer, artist, and LP alum Nontsikelelo Mutiti, and Dr. Amanda Boston, assistant professor of Africana studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
