Katherine Miranda (they/he) is a non-binary, Mexican-Puerto Rican artist born, raised and based in the Bronx. Sourcing material from their environment, family and community, the objects in their work reference Bronx culture, familial childhood experiences, Latinx/Latine history and its relationship with the United States. Utilizing these objects, they create work that acts as a reflection, an investigation and an homage to familial and communal histories.
