October Liberation Series | 20th Anniversary Pop-Up
Celebrate 20 years of The Laundromat Project with a unique experience across Bed-Stuy’s Fulton Street. On Friday, October 2, 2026, five local storefronts along Fulton Street will become pop-up creative spaces for our 20th Anniversary Liberation Series Pop-Up. Explore art, connect with neighbors, and learn about the businesses of Bed-Stuy. Move from one activation to the next, where each activation is being hosted by a beloved local business and a talented LP Artist. Pick up a map at any participating location, collect memories at our Polaroid station, and celebrate two decades of art and community with us.

LP Storefront Activation: Diasporic Play and Community Song
Mahjong and Dominoes tables meet at The LP Storefront on Fulton Street, R&B voices above them. The games carry their own rhythm for diasporic hands; R&B is Bed-Stuy’s inheritance. We teach anyone to play — workers from neighboring storefronts invited to sit in — while Soluna and guests sing. A celebration in solidarity among communities of color.
Free food and refreshments will be provided.
