A Soft Place to Land: A Community Gathering for Remembrance, Creation & Collective Care
Join us for Leslie’s Open Studio!
As a precursor to the Large Scale “Healing Grounds” Activation happening 9/14/2025, Leslie will invite the Bronx community to ‘A Soft Place to Land’ for community members to pause — to hold each other, to hold memory, and to be held in return. In commemoration of Suicide Awareness day, this community gathering will center grief and mental health with care, tenderness, and artistry, loss into connection and remembrance into ritual.
In this space, Leslie will break bread, share stories, and co-create a container where everyone can just be. Whether guests come to honor someone they’ve lost, reflect on their own mental health journey, or simply experience collective nourishment.
