Shifting Systems for Change: Celebrating the 2026 Create Change Fellowship

Fellows, LP staff & community members gather to celebrate the partnerships built across the 6 month fellowship and talk about its legacy.

Shifting Systems for Change: Celebrating the 2026 Create Change Fellowship brings together  artists, community partners, and neighbors to celebrate the completion of the 2026 Create Change fellowship. This presentation offers a public reflection on how The LP’s approach offers multiple models of how artists and organizations can build relationships, collaborate and create together. Hosted at Weeksville, and moderated by Rasu Jilani, these reflections will explore how artists and community organizations can work together toward the most pressing concerns of our Bed-Stuy neighborhood, concerns shared across many neighborhoods and cities: medical inequity, displacement prevention, economic justice, and environmental justice. Through a moderated conversation, Fellows and community partners will share their experiences, lessons, and reflections on the collaborative process.
