Project: 300 Elevates Tenant Association Sip and Paint Workshop:
Tenants will have the opportunity to express their emotions through art. Wellness Initiative: Led by a fitness instructor, this program will focus on exercise activities for the group. Double Dash and Sidewalk Chalk Art Competitions: These creative contests will take place in front of the building, with participation from community members. Bingo Game Night / Movie Night: In the backyard for fun-filled game nights and family movie screenings. Financial Literacy Presentation: Learn about budgeting and savings in this informative session. All activities will be held on the building property and cater to different age groups.
Bio:
Yenifer Jimenez is an Afro Latina, single mother of 4 amazing girls, and a long-time resident of Bedford Stuyvesant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Accounting. Yenifer currently works as President at the 300Elevates Tenant Association, where her primary goal is to foster a safe and supportive community for the tenants by bringing neighbors together, building relationships, educating residents, and encouraging community involvement.
