Project: Kidz Who Care
The Kidz Who Care project will accommodate a maximum of 10 children aged 7 to 10. It will consist of two ‘Caring for our Community’ workshops. During these workshops, kids will gather to learn and share ideas over lunch on how to nurture our community. Following the initial workshop, monthly meetings will be held from July to December. These sessions will involve a variety of activities, including volunteering for cleanups, participating in garden visits and planting activities, as well as exploring compost sites in Bed Stuy. Nutritious lunches and snacks will be provided for the children during each meeting.
