2021 Creative Action Fund | Elders

Elders is a web and mobile app that will help foster connections between the generations. As the cultural gap widens between generations due to technological advances, etc., Elders is a framework and digital platform to build bridges across generations and asks What is lost when we have unlimited information at our fingertips? When we don’t need to ask grandma for that recipe, how can we preserve her unique knowledge and life experiences?  Through intentional, thoughtful prompts, this app will create an easy way for children and young adults to connect with their grandparents and other elders in their community, while creating fun, video/audio memories together.
