BIO

I have a Masters of Library Science, with a background in Cinema Studies. I have taught media literacy and production courses for many years, and enjoy creating curriculum that helps students find their creative voice, collaborate with others, and develop a critical understanding of how information is produced and shared. I currently manage the Research & Instruction program at the Barnard Library.

My research interests include: race and representation, Modernist art and avant garde film, Black feminism, Caribbean and Latin American cultural studies, feminism, education, critical pedagogies, activism, community-based media production, and information literacy.
