The Jefferson Avenue Block Party will seek to unite community through fun-filled activity, fostering friendships, and a sense of community pride. It’s an opportunity to build strong bonds among our neighbors, promote a safe and inclusive environment, and celebrate our shared values. Through games, food, and entertainment, the project aims to create memorable experiences that strengthen neighborhood bonds, and encourage collaboration and mutual support.

Lisa Lee Brown is a 40-year resident of Bedford Stuyvesant. Through her project she aims to address changes in Bedford Stuyvesant, through community block parties.
