Kelsea Suarez

Kelsea Suarez (she/they/siya) is a Filipine American artist who has moved more than 20 times in her life. Her world vision is defined by the many Indigenous and Global South communities that she’s been a part of. Gender is a performance. Collective Memory is a weapon. Land Back is the ultimate currency. Culture is not merely inheritance, but a creation. Kelsea has created community murals in Colorado, played gospel music worldwide, reduced food waste in NYC, danced in deserts, supported landback victories, and was once an internationally competitive figure skater for the Philippines.
