Keisha-Gaye Anderson

Project: Link & Learn: Bed Stuy Teen Creative Writing Workshop
More than ever, young people in Brooklyn need third spaces to connect with their peers in inspiring ways and forge new friendships while exploring their creativity. This six-week writing workshop, hosted at the Macon Library in Bed Stuy, will teach critical skills in literacy and provide a much needed space for social connection and self-expression. The workshop will culminate in a public reading of students’ creative works, which will also be open to the local community.
