Ching-I Chang

Ching-I Chang, made in Taiwan, is a dance/dream conceptual maker, curator, performer, and listener. Her works have been shown in Yuz Museum, Queens Museum, Institute for Contemporary Art at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Fou Gallery, Harlem Stage: E-Moves, Movement Research @Judson Church, Dancespace Project: DraftWork. She was an original cast member of Sleep No More NYC and an SNM Shanghai rehearsal director and performer. She has toured with ANIKAYA in Palestine and African countries. She is a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst and Yoga & Yoga Nidra Facilitator. Ching-I & Penelope started the Inter-grant Festival, an annual platform at Arts On Site celebrating the voices of international artists who have successfully navigated the US immigration process.
