Project: Sending Love in Bed-Stuy: LovSta
Sending Love in Bedstuy is a placemaking project for the LovSta (Love Station). LovSta is a small station providing pre-stamped and designed postcards, stickers, and pens. Next to a USPS Blue Box, community members can physically mail love notes to themselves and others. This act extends the love beyond the moment of writing it and provides an additional moment of feeling the reception of their own love. LovSta grounds writers in the tangible act of putting pen to paper to cultivate self-awareness as the first step in loving relationships.
