Project: Thee Garden of Black Possibilitrees
The BlackJoy Possibilitree is an ongoing art installation project in which Sanchez invites participants to contribute to this evolving art installation, symbolizing the cultivation of a world that cherishes BlackJoy and personhood. over the course of 6 months the installation will be on display for people to witness and contribute their possibility to, and every months Sanchez hosts a public & open arts salon where visual art, performance, and community engagement seamlessly merge.

C Joi Sanchez, best known as TheNotoriousRBJ is a multifaceted autodidact a creative entrepreneur . Born & raised in Brooklyn, NY, she attended studied from photography at NYU in 1999 and has been arting her way through life as a poet, vocalist, comedian, & visual artist since.Currently finding refuge in The Bronx, Joi utilizes art as a tool for self-development and radical change in the world through the youth enrichment programs she teaches in the community.
