Hiring: Community Engagement Manager

The Laundromat Project (The LP) is seeking a purpose-driven and creative community builder for the full-time, two-year position of Community Engagement Manager (TEMP – 24mths). This individual is a self-starting, team-oriented person who is passionate about helping us build meaningful and authentic connections and partnerships with key stakeholders, creative individuals & groups in Bed-Stuy, Central Brooklyn, and across NYC. The Community Engagement Manager will help expand and enrich our existing relationships and forge new ones throughout the five boroughs of New York City. The ideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and has experience in the non-profit, cultural, and/or education sectors.

  • Full-time temporary position, with some evenings and weekends required
  • Salary: $75K
  • Office location: Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn; Work time includes both regularly scheduled in-office hours and the option of virtual / remote hours
