Kendra J. Ross: Imagination Station

September 24 @ 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

September 24, 3:00pm EDT | Kendra J. Ross: Imagination Station

IN PERSON* at The LP, 1476 Fulton Street Brooklyn, NY 11216

We’d like to invite you to radically imagine the future of the Bed-Stuy community at  The Sankofa Residency’s “Imagination Station”. The Imagination Station is an arts based workshop open to intergenerational residents of Bed-Stuy. In this phase of  The Sankofa Residency, we enter the dream realm where we center two important questions: What will Bed-Stuy look like in the future? How can we be part of creating the change we want to see? Using a collection of research and oral history participants will be asked to imagine our beloved Bed-Stuy as a utopia that is sustainable and thriving. Collectively, we will discover stories, past and present, dream and create an action plan to see our vision come to life. We’d love to have you share in this workshop and hear about your experience and wishes for the neighborhood. See info below and flyer invitation attached, hope to see you there.

*Please see registration page for details regarding The LP’s in-person event safety protocols
