Throughout the year, each artist has shaped rigorous, collaborative, and dynamic place-based projects. From ballroom culture and housing justice, to mutual aid networks and Filipino heritage, artists Ariana Faye Allensworth, Jaclyn Reyes, Sydney Baloue, and Xenia Diente will discuss their project designs, ideas, and experimentations.
The presentations will be hosted by Novella Ford, Associate Director of Programs and Exhibitions at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and member of The LP’s 2020 Artist & Community Council selection committee.
In addition to presentations, we’ll open discussion to exchange direct feedback, resources, questions, and encouragement with the artists. Join us for a generative dialogue around art, community building, and creating sustainable change!
