The Laundromat Project’s 2019 Create Change Artist-in-Residence Seyi Adebanjo invites you to join and participate in “Òrìṣà Readings in Nature.”
The readings will be an opportunity for community members to read texts that pertain to Queer/Trans/Gender Non conforming folks in Yoruba/Orisa practice. After each reading, community members are encouraged to participate in group discussion.
Seyi Adebanjo’s Afromystic E.P. (Experimental Project) is part of The Laundromat Project’s 2019 Create Change Artist-in-Residence Program. The Residency is for artists of color with a demonstrated record of developing community-based public art projects who are comfortable engaging their neighbors in participatory, socially-engaged work.
