#BlackLivesMatter: Stop the Violence March and Healing Circle

Marching to protect our streets and youth on the frontlines of social and environmental injustices...

On Saturday, July 16, The Laundromat Project at Kelly Street hosted an afternoon session for community members and artists to create sign and props that were carried during the Stop the Violence march and healing circle in Hunts Point on Sunday, July 17. The LP co-organized the march with Mothers On the Move, The Rebel Díaz Arts Collective, The Point CDC, Bronx Climate Justice North, and The LP community proudly stood with other Bronx leaders, artists, activists, and neighbors of all ages to unite around protecting our streets and youth on the frontlines of social and environmental injustices.
