Adalky is a New York City born and raised artist. Many features of her artwork are strongly influenced by current experiences growing up in the neighborhood of Washington Heights and experiences as an Afro-Latina woman.

May We Find Ourselves is a body of visual art with a web database tracing our ancestry and history to earlier times. Made collectively by documenting cultural sayings, community storytelling, and or traditions we receive at home, this is an interactive art piece that centers on the tradition of culture, language, and art. This is for all of the people in diverging directions across the Atlantic Ocean, retracing our journeys to show our strength and resiliency.
